Already 2004 Olympic Games?!

Wow! The best sports event is starting August 2004 in Athens, Greece. Go soccer!
Plus we have the 2004 Presidential Election. Let's just hope no future terrorist strikes occur.

I cant wait to see the FIFA world cup 06 at Germany! Mexico will beat US, if they happen to play, I still cant believe US beated Mexico 2-0 on round of 16 finals. Probably I will attend one game.

Yeah, I heard the citizens and tourists are afraid of weak security in the new stadium. I love Olympic - the best competes with the best.
Who is in the U.S. ALl-Star team?

Already August. The Athens 2004 Olympics Opening Ceremony commenced today. The Olympics will go until the 29th.

It will be exciting to watch the best athletes from around the world compete against one another.
And soccer is called "football."

Hehe, South Korea beat Mexico.
And I guess the U.S. Dream Team wasn't ready for the Olympics.

edit: THESSALONIKI, 17 August – Fans at Kaftantzoglio Stadium were treated to an extraordinary Olympic Men's Football match as Mali jumped out to a 3-0 lead only for Korea to share the spoils after storming back with three goals in seven minutes.
The 3-3 result meant both teams progressed to the quarterfinals from Group A, leaving hosts Greece and Mexico to pack their bags.

game attendances to many games have been VERY LOW... perhaps its cuz of terrorist threats.

No way!! Found this on the frontpage of Cal Poly website:
Kim Rhode Wins Gold in Last Olympic Women's Double Trap
Cal Poly Pomona's Kim Rhode won the gold medal in women's double trap on Aug. 18 in Athens, Greece, becoming the first and last winner of the Olympic event. Rhode, an Animal & Veterinary Sciences junior, won with a score of 146, one ahead of South Korea's Lee Bo Na who scored 145 to take silver. China's Gao E took the bronze with 142 points. GOOD FOR HER!!
