Winning is winning and they do just that. But that doesn't mean we have to drool all over them and be plain ignorant. Payton and Malone are not true Lakers. One season ago you booed at them for playing the Lakers (and that is completely rhetorical). Kobe is an arrogant ass. He does not care about any fan who has ever stood up for him cause he is getting paid. He did not rape that girl but he did have sex with her. When did it become ok to cheat on your wife? Last time I checked adultry is not the cool thing to do. Somehow we lost sight of that and Kobe is the victim. A professional anything team is a team about the fans and the legacy. You do not win championships for rings. You win championships for the fans that by the seats in the nose bleed section. You win chamionships for the fans who stand up and make noise during the away teams free throws. You win championships so the fans and say "Hello world, we are the best." Too many players have lost sight of that. You want a profesional basketball team? How about the Boston Celtics? Or the San Antonio Spurs? The Jordan Bulls? The Magic Johnson Lakers? Or the L.A. Clippers?

I don't boo at Payton and Malone, I hardly boo anyone unless they play really dirty. I love Tim Duncan, he play really good, so does KG. They all deserve my respect.

Why should I care if Kobe is an arrogant ass? I don't go ask for signature or taking picture with him. As long as he put on a good basketball show, I would appreciate that.

NBA Finals are planned up. Just to let you guys know, like many spectator sports, NBA is all about business. I have made a $250 bet with my colleagues that the Los Angeles Lakers will win the 2004 NBA championship, just to prove to them that NBA conference finals is all a setup.
