Post Major Downtime - Sorry for the inconvenience

As all of you have experienced, CalPolyOnline.com was down for more than two whole weeks. Believe me; I was very frustrated during the downtime. Few hours of downtime are considered to be critical but two weeks, that is just unthinkable. I was trying to resolve the problem with the previous webhost but apparently, the company decided to shake their hands and move on.

The company had operated for more than five years. CalPolyOnline.com had been hosted for more than two years under the company and their service was top-notch and downtime was very rare.
On September 15, 2005, the owner of the webhost company decided to pull the plug and thousands of existing clients all lost their data.

To make the story short, rumor says that the company is being acquired by another company because of inadequate finance and business management.

Two weeks later, I’ve found a reputable webhost company that is based here in the U.S. and so far, the tech support and service has been great.

So that’s the story. So how is everyone doing?

What was the name of the webhost company you had before and what one do you have now?

The previous company will not be disclosed and the company is dissolved and no longer operating.

CalPolyOnline.com is being hosted by Hosting Matters, Inc. The tech support has been awesome so far.

Glad to see things are back up and going! Little bit of bad news -- looks like the forums are not able to go back multiple pages on those threads that have more than 1 page. 404 error.

some2, I can't replicate the steps to find that 404 error bug. Are you still getting that error? If so, could you briefly explain how you get there. Thanks in advance.

Yes it did. The Articles & Resource table has been removed and the Latest Forum Topics table had been relocated to the left side. The Mini Calendar has been removed also.
