It is more like a ranking system. I was a High Senior when I started off after certain amount of posts, my title changed to 1st Year and now 2nd Year. But KayCee gets his own title because he is a moderator.

Now that I understand the difference between the "info" about you, and your rank, I didn't realize that they were not related. I think there should be a different system for ranking posters. It is too confusing, when people are expecting it to correspond to what they entered at registration.

On my personal forum, I use a ranking system that at least describes your familiarity, and regularity of posting, starting out as a newbie, and ending up as 1337.

To the admins/moderators: I think a better ranking system should be devised, to eliminate this confusion.

high school senior doesn't really make sense...
now, is employee bc he's an employee or bcof the amt of posts?

Hmm...must be a bug because some member's title did not changed while few of you did. I'll take a look at it.
He is "Employee" because of his post counts.

Are the new titles also confusing? Starts off as Newcomer, Trainee, Employee, Manager, and so forth...
