could you help me to solve the problem 1/2 or just give me the equation to solve it? The professor didn't teach anything in the ch.1 in the first day of class (just reviewed statics problems) and he assigned 5 problems in the chapter1! if you couldn't reply before 12pm-wed., just forget it! Thanks a lot.

I'll tell u what... y dont i just sell u the solution manual... that way you can know how to solve ALL the problems of ALL the chapters... it'll be more useful than the professors's explanations, and looking at them aren't limited to office hours cuz u have it.
