Post Learning Resource Center Free Tutoring News

Do you remember when the Learning Resource Center (LRC) charged you four dollars per hour to get the tutoring you needed? Good news students!

Students having trouble with fractals? Do they need help with statistics? Students can make an appointment with a tutor at Cal Poly Pomona's Learning Resource Center (LRC) and begin increasing their learning power. Thanks to an increased allocation from Associated Students Inc. for the 2006-07 fiscal year, students now benefit from free tutoring.

The free resource is available as of the Summer 2006 quarter and throughout the Fall quarter. Until further notice by ASI and the LRC, the free tutoring will be available to the current students.

I highly recommend that you make an appointment with the LRC for your tutoring needs. Not only is the beneficial service free, the personal (or group) tutoring will increase your grade along with learning the subject a lot better. I've personally taken LRC tutoring in the past quarters and the tutors were really punctual and knowledgeable in the subject.

Exclamation Your Support Is Needed To Extend the Free LRC Tutoring

Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona approved of the increase in financial budget for the Learning Resource Center (LRC). The subsidization was approved when the director along with staffs of the LRC program requested the additional grant.

Fortunately the student body of ASI and other representatives all approved of the subsidization and therefore the increase of grant rewarded. In order for the free tutoring program to continue for the quarters to come, it is important that the students actually participate in the program. The free tutoring is a win-win program benefiting the entire community of Cal Poly Pomona.

By participating in the private tutoring and giving positive feedbacks and remarks about the program, the ASI will not argue against the continuation of the program. And if you've taken LRC tutoring in the past and 'happen' to meet an ASI official, please thank them for the free LRC tutoring program.

I thank you for your time and hope you take advantage of service. BTW, the tutors are really .
