 | basically you just write an essay on a topic... they give you several choices and you just pick one to write about they score on things such as grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc... I didn't even finish my essay and I passed... |

| I took it last summer and passed. I personally felt I could have done much better (given more time) but I got a few points above the "passing" level. I can't find my results sheet atm. As long as you write something halfway coherent, you'll pass. I would suggest if English is not your native language, or if your grammar is poor, study grammar. Also: GET THERE EARLY! There will be a long line of students waiting outside to check in. |

| yea... it was easy. i thought that i didn't pass before i got the results cuz i also thought that i could have written a better essay. i think people make it sound more difficult than it is. i heard a lot of the negative stories about the gwt and was freaking out cuz the last english class i took was about 2 years ago... but it was alright~~ don't stress`~ |
