![]() | Plant Tour to Yellow Transportation's Rialto Terminal / Prospective Partnership Plant Tour to Yellow Transportation's Rialto Terminal / Prospective Partnership Hello._ This Monday, February 9th, a group of our transportation, supply chain, purchasing, contract management and marketing students are going to visit Yellow Transportation's distribution center in Rialto._ The tour will take place between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm._ We have about the right number of students registered for the activity, but will gladly accept a few more if some of your students or if you, faculty members, want to come along. We need your help, in case you teach a class during this time, as to allow them to participate on this visit. Yellow is ready to start an internship program with us; the requisites for the students are Junior or Senior standing, a GPA of at least 2.75, and a willingness to work evening hours --between 4 and 8 according to internship terms._ The pay is very good: $ 20 an hour. An internship with Yellow, which became the largest transportation company nationwide after its purchase of Roadway Express, is quite relevant to logistics, TOM, Supply Chain, Marketing, Management, and e-Business students._ The company is looking forward to hire many of the interns on a full-time status upon graduation._ A partnership --the first of this kind-- is being worked out with Fernando Brioso, a recruiter with Yellow._ This should increase both the visibility of our related programs, and student goodwill. Your participation and help will be greatly appreciated._ I may be reached at 909-809-6605 for additional information on the subject. Sincerely James Carvallo Lecturer, IBM Department Attachment: driving directions to Yellow's DC in Rialto, California.
