![]() | New E-Business (EBZ) Course in Spring 2004 To: All E Business Students The time for preregistration for classes for Spring quarter is approaching soon. I have some good news. We are offering two new E Business 499 courses during Spring Quarter. The first one is EBZ 499 (Special Topics CRN 26815) on Tu-Th from 6-8 PM and it will have to do with use of ERP systems. It can be used by students in any career track. Thus even if you are not in the ERP career track you can still use this course in your career track. The prerequisite is at the discretion of the instructor. The second course is E Business 499 (Applications Development CRN 27666). This course will have to do with web development. You will use ASP and other methodologies to link websites to databases. The course will be taught by Dr. Westfall from CIS dept. The course will meet concurrently with the CIS 451 course (TU Th 6-8 PM). However you dont need the CIS prerequisites to get into the course. The prerequisites are at the discretion of the instructor. However the E-Business 499 course has been set at a zero enrolment for now. Thus unless it is changed in the next week or so you cannot preenrol fror the class. You will need to go to the instructor on the first day of class and get an override ticket from him. However when it is time for you to preregister please check to see if the enrolment has been opened up. This class can also be used with any career track in E Business. These new courses are part of the E Business departments efforts to keep offering new and valuable courses for EBZ students which will enhance their skills and make them even more marketable in the job market.
