That's why the media doesn't release certain information... sometimes for the nature of the information or simply because the general public is too fragile to understand it. First off, it's not up to the press to make that avaliable for the public. It starts off at the court (when a case is going under trial it is very hard to obtain information about the case, it's the law). Newspeople work very hard to get you the information you already know at the cost of breaking bridges with the system. That's why cops, public officials and CEO's don't like to talk to the press because they know that the press is brutal at exposing them. And yet the general public is very reluctant of the press' attempts at exposing the truth.
Take this as a compliment, you're better off as part of the ignorant general population. This world is way more twisted than you think. And people will never understand that.
