He is not an ordinary asian though. Martin is a 100 years old Asian.

Attending a ghetto high school have its advantages. For example, let us assume that 75% of your graduating classmates are not college prospects. You graduate in the top 5% of your class thanks to the 'ghettoness' of the high school and its students. The college admissions will look at your application, GPA and SAT score meets the admission requirement, and graduated in the top 5% of the class. What do you know! The admissions accepted your college application because the university saw you as a prospective student who strived to succeed even if his or her high school was ghetto and poor overall (not saying ghetto = poor).

Hehe of course this is not always the case. I heard a HIGH percentages of Sunny Hills high school students get a high average in the SAT scores and get admitted to IVY leagues and other prestigious universities.
