He has been very fortunate in that he was born into a rich and powerful family. So it doesn't matter if he's dumb as a post or not, his silver spoon will guarantee he will "succeed" in everything, eventually.

Excuse me, but where in this entire thread has ANYONE been portraying Kerry as a saint? A lot of people will be voting for Kerry because they don't want to give Bush another term, but no one's ever claimed he was a saint.

So you're saying that the single mom who has to work her ass off for her children because her idiot husband ran off is lazy and unmotivated just because she's poor? She's not entitled to any city programs to help her kids stay off the streets because she has no time to spend with them? And how do you propose we fund all these wars when taxes are being cut? I guess we'll just yank the money out of education and public programs because if you're poor you don't deserve to have the same opportunities as the well-to-do. It's every man for himself, isn't it?
