Working together, you and the rest of our supporters have broken every record in Democratic politics -- contributed more money, made more phone calls and knocked on more doors than ever before.

Now we have one last thing to do -- one last record to set. The election is exactly one week away and on that day we must conduct the largest get out the vote effort in history. Today I ask you to offer your support one last time. Friday is the Democratic Party's final fundraising deadline of the campaign. The money you contribute by this deadline will determine how many voters get to the polls, and that will decide who wins this election.

Over the past several months, thanks to your support, the Democratic Party has built the most ambitious field operation in history. We have hundreds of paid staffers and hundreds of thousands of volunteers in place and we are poised to reach out to millions of voters.

In battleground states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida, we have more support than George Bush among potential voters. But we have to turn those potential voters into actual votes.

During this campaign, if there is one group of people I know I can depend on it is you. At every deadline you were there; each time John Kerry was under fire, you fired back; and now we are coming to the end and I know you will be by our side during this final fundraising effort.

John Kerry, John Edwards, and other Democrats need you to make a contribution before the final deadline.
