I would say without going into detail that
most of those things stated are true as far as I know. A lot of our political squabbles are over value judgments.
I mean... I got in a heated argument with my roommate over gay marriage for example. He said something to the likes of "as a christian i truly honestly believe against it" and I quite simply responded "why should people who are born gay have any less rights then you? What any difference is that from race/religion/age/sex? ...." and so on.
Iono... Bush is definately one of the most religious presidents, I've heard of many books written about him using a lot of beliefs in how he practices. As opposed to the Roosevelt approach which is "I am not a christian president. I am a president, who just happens to be christian." To me, thats good... to not impose your will on others... but thats my thoughts... Be a good christian, vote Bush!
But then again Bush has done many un-christian things throughout the world. But that stuff is ignored or dismissed
