| I thought "script kiddies" referred to wannabe hackers who don't really know how to do any original hacking, but use pre-written scripts and software to hack for them? During my recent interviews with other companies (looking to get a better-paying job) a number of them asked if I would be able to take a piece of javascript (for example) and customize it for the purposes of the current project. That isn't stealing code, it's being efficient. Why re-invent the wheel when you can just modify one? |
