| Ugh, high fructose corn syrup is even more prevalent in our food than the trans fats! I steer clear of sodas because you're basically drinking syrup. It's in a lot of cereals too, along with most sweet processed foods. However I'm very glad to see a growing trend of replacing this syrup with natural cane sugar. It's mostly in the stuff from health food stores, but it's starting to creep into mainstream grocery stores too. |
