| A: I don't think I'm cut out for it. I hate politics even though I have my personal views. I'm a bit too sensitive to withstand all the mudslinging that goes on. It's all about spin. The most qualified person will usually get beaten by the guy who has the best PR people. I can imagine the folks in Inglewood (where I currently reside, and where the vast majority are either black or hispanic) balking at my entrance into their city politics: "WHAT in the world is this crazy white woman doing running for City Council? She is NOT reprezentin'!" My only defense would be, "Well, uh, I'm not *completely* white...."
Q: Which is worse, not voting or being an uninformed voter? |
