u sound smart to me, alice. i coulda gone to ucla but like poly better. if u are pretty smart u will do well. ego was hurt for not getting admit to ucb but am told they expect chinese students to be almost perfect b/cuz so many of us apply there that they say they have too many. we have almost 6,000 chinese students at poly pomona and that's really nice, lots of friends and cultural stuff, dragon boats, moon festivals, new years fun etc...u would really fit in nicely here...and lots of nice cantonese guys, too to sho u around...hey, is concord where there is some navy base or something? i remember that town...if you have a hs 4.0 u should be okay at either poly school...just remember your "place" at slo, okay???
