1) Is myopia (nearsighted) carried over from parent's gene 100%?

2) Or is myopia affected by poor lighting while reading, watching television in close distant, and etc.?

3) If a nearsighted male and a nearsighted female mate and reproduce an offspring, is there a percentage or a formula to figure out whether the baby will also have a nearsighted vision?
