| Taking Boddekker in lab helped me do better in my lecture class. He would help those of us who needed it, but as people are saying, for 131/L he does give quizzes every week, and one formal lab, but the pre-labs and lab data and questions are not hard, and he will even help you with them. He does give a lab final, which is kind of hard at first glance, but easy when you get down to working it. He is really into simplifying concepts. I got an A in his lab and I'm not even a real good physics student. I just made the effort to try to do well and it helps that he grades on a curve. But he was also cool as a person and made the examples on concepts fun (like when a Hummer smashes a VW Beetle).
