I'm sure they are well hidden. Not all cell phone coverage is handled by those (ugly) towers or those fake palm-tree towers.

The towers go up first, then the cell phone companies check signal strength in the field. When they find a "dead spot" they talk to companies in that area about putting "booster" antennas on/in their buildings. Some are very well concealed-they are mounted in an alley behind a building, and painted the same color as the building. Others are mounted on the roof.

I suspect that there is one at the top of the CLA "point", and there may be another one on that radio tower north of the 10 freeway. If you stand in the quad and look toward the 10 (toward building 1) I think you can see it.

I'll keep my eye out for one and take some pics.
