| What class are you taking Davarpanah for?
I took him for 204 and 341/341L. Be prepared to work hard in either class! His tests are VERY tough. You really have to understand the material WELL in order to do well on his tests. I think he does a better job of teaching 204 than 341.
In 341 you have to run a lot of programs on your own computer at home, and he didn't seem willing to help us if we had problems. He covered way more material than other 341 courses-he taught how to program the 68HC11 in both C and assembly. Most profs just teach C which is easy because you've had 114.
However, the assembly came in handy because I took 343 this summer, and in there you use assembly to program the Motorola 68000 processor. So, the first part of 343 was basically a review for me.
I guess the main point is take him if you're a computer engineering major. You will have to work hard, but you will learn a lot in his courses. |
