What factors determine the price increase of our tuition?
Recently, Cal State tuitions' increased. The previous fee is shown
here (
pdf format). And not only the tuition increased, our quarter parking permit increased from $54 to $72. I do not know if the average textbook price increased ..... but I do know paying $105 for CIS 101 textbook is ridiculous.
The increase of the fee has an affect to all students (not sure about staffs) and our lifestyle. It means many of us need to work longer hours (if you are receiving financial aid, take advantage of it).
Factors that
determine price increase:
- Development of the parking structure
- The new Engineering building
- The new pond (name?) next to the CLA building
- New shuttle bus, replacing the trams
- The new dorm (apartments?) buildings
- New food dining center with the gym
Am I missing anything?
