I believe, it varies according to department. I was reading earlier today that some classes have certain prereqs, but for most classes D- is considered passing as long as you graduate with a 2.0.

For instance: Most Math Classes requires a C or higher, some require a B or higher to move on (MAT105, 106)
PHY131,132,133 require a C- to pass.

There are other exceptions too I think. Most other classes except technical classes, you should be okay, when in doubt; ask your advisor!
