My XP autoly updated to SP2 on its own (thanks to my updates provided to me by LiveUpdate!) and its been set to my current settings I had with the old SP. (My computer came with that on its own, able to change such programes to my current settings) however.. the only thing I had to do was change what it allows into my computer (such as the live updates. I had to make seettings to allow that in after the change) other than that. its been fine with me. The Ad Blocker reminds me of MSN's Toolbar Ad blocker. I just think MSN's Toolbar ad blocker is just better than the SP2 ad blocker.

As for fire wall proection and its stelth settings. I give it an overall okay but I had to disable the stelth settings. I really did not feel like sitting there for a few hours to what allow to connect to my computer and what not allow to connect to my coumputer. Stelth settings is only good for if you vist certain sites (like orn sites) or you have the odd feeling a 'hacker' is out for you and trying to use a SubSeven programe to try to grant access to your computer. Thats the only upside tot hose settings.

Over all review (by me of course and what I think) after having it autoly adjusted and having to make a few personal changes. I've noticed no big wow in useage or reason for having it. No big wow to. (I've had programes that provided some of ther stuff it currently has) so its nothing new to me. Those whom never had its features. Then have fun with it and do no be scared to tinker with it or even goof with it some. test it out your self. Try to run things, use proxies, etc. The whole nine. I give it a B rateing for it being user friendly. I give it an A in over all useage of it and the features it provides currently from the old one.

This is what I think. To best answer the first post on this form.

One more thing. For the "possible disaster ", As long as you have a boot disk or CD (basicly a Recovery CD) You should have no fears and have no worries. Worse that can happen, you loose everything and just have to re-boot your whole computer. If you don't have such a programe to make one (a boot disk or CD) then buy one at BestBuy or save 50 bucks for Best Buy to re-boot your computer for you. Other than that, nothing to worry about and so far, I personally don't think there will be nothing to worry about. As long as you have your virus scan always runing and checking everything autoly.

Yours Truly
