Obviously, writing code to generate a simple clean course schedule is not so hard. The tricky parts include getting the right people to agree what information is presented (I&IT doesn't own the information), getting it in the right place so people can find it, making sure that it's linked correctly to the backend so that it's accurate and up-to-date, etc.

We've heard loud and clear that a lot of what we had before was more appealing than what we have now. In some cases, we can't do it the same way anymore for technical reasons, but in other cases we're trying to see if we can't make improvements that look more like what we had 6 months ago.

One good piece of news - faculty are now entering grades on line, and they are posting in 24 hours, so summer students are now able to get grades for some of their classes even before the grading period ends. (I guess that's good or bad depending on the grade.)
