You should also ask yourself, am I going to be satisfied with working as an architect or am I going to be hate architecture after working in the career for a certain period of time (same as engineer)?
Since you have the time and money, why not invest in 2-4 years and find a new career that you now have an interest in. Good luck in whatever choice you make.
