| If I remember correctly, admissions are limited and reduced due to the California budget cut and affects both Cal States and UC. Therefore, more competition for freshmen and transfer student to get accepted into the limited slot.
Have you applied already and when? Seems like you have contacted the admissions office regarding your transfer application. Did you get a response?
