Hmm... of course submitting your admission application gives you a slight chance compared to not turning it in.
I don't know what the admission criteria is for Cal Poly SLO but since it is a top Cal State university, high school G.P.A. is
very important. Both of my h.s. friend who applied there had 3.8 and 3.9 G.P.A.s.
You have two options in your situation. Find out when the deadine is to apply for admissions and give it a chance. Or you would need to go through a community college and transfer. I don't see any other way. Just don't give up.
