ASI presents exCHANGE lounge
"Students talk about learning"
Wednesday, January 21, 2004
4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
The Student exCHANGE Lounge recognizes that education is the responsibility of both the teacher and the learner.
What is the exCHANGE lounge?
Every student is unique. You are unique. Very likely, you learn differently than the individual sitting next to you or than the student sitting in the back row near the exit door. What if you were allowed to learn how you learn best? It could happen. Change can happen.
Only you know how you learn best. So share with a group of your student peers what you think about teaching and learning.
What is the purpose?
Faculty care about how much you learn and how well prepared you are for your career. Your attitudes and ideas about effective teaching and learning assessment practices will be compared with those faculty and administrators. The findings will assist Cal Poly Pomona in continuing to improve learning
and teaching practices.
