| Martinez is a really great professor, I don't know if the material is just hard or if his tests are hard, but the class was not very easy, but he was no-doubt very good at teaching the material and was very funny. He relates economics to the real world and always has great stories to tell. He is always available in his office hours for you to ask questions about the homework. Basically, if you do the homework and fully understand it, you can do well on the tests. I guess he has changed things up since the past, you have to do the homework (3 assignments and turn them in on time), and there are 2 tests and a final, he didn’t drop any tests. The tests were around 50 questions worth 2 points each, and he had 10 extra credit questions worth 1 point each. He also offered an additional extra credit to help borderline students. I ended up with an A in the class this quarter and would highly recommend him because I learned economics very well by taking his class because he didn’t make it boring. |
