im at school to learn and get a solid education. im too grown to join something and spend the time drinking or partying my valuable time away. i did that in high school. pomona is a commuter school, have other things to do. i remember i went to one restaurant with my cal poly shirt on, and the waitress said cal poly pomona was a party school. i laughed out loud, and despite my reasoning as to why were not, she held to the idea that we were. have a buddy that went to SLO and then went to pomona. students much more involved in school, also less things to do in the area when compared to CPP. neither way of being is good or bad IMO. most important thing to me is the persuit of education, everything else is pretty trivial.
