I work as a student assistant for Graduate Business Programs, even though I'm an Engineering major, you know those Business guys need engineers to handle things too!

Minimum GPA Requirement is 3.0 in your last 90 units of instruction.
Minimum GMAT score is 450. If you have a lower GPA, you can compensate a little with a better GMAT, but not the other way around.

The formula is take you last 90 unit GPA and multiply it by 200, then add your GMAT score. This score must be a minimum of 1050, no exceptions (these are set by the accredidation board)

So a 3.0 GPA, and 450 GMAT score would be:
3.0 x 200 = 600, + 450 = 1050

Like I said, you can compensate for a low GPA with a high GMAT score, but not vice versa. Minimum score regardless of how high your gpa is 450.

These requirements are the same for the MBA.

Remember that the MSBA is different from the MBA. The MSBA is in IS Auditing which is basically a combination of accounting and IS managment. There are only about 50-60 students currently in the program, but we are one of only 12 (I think that's still current) universities in the United States that offer this MSBA degree in IS Auditing.

For more information, you can visit the Graduate Business Programs Website at:
http://www.csupomona.edu/~mba/
(I developed this site )

There is a link from Programs of Study to Prof. Gallegos' (MSBA advisor) page which is specifically for MSBA information.

For any other information, check out the website, or you can go by the advising office in building 6, room 109.

This degree is a professional degree, like the MBA, where you need at least two years of managerial experience to apply and be admitted. It is not the type of degree where you go from your undergrad work directly into the MBA work, no matter who told you otherwise, and this is the same at all the respectable campuses.
