I doubt Cal Poly Pomona would want the area to be more urbanized. The university is known for its suburban, ranch type environment where students can get away from the city and study in such environment.
Even Cal Poly San Luis Obispo has a similar environment as Pomona.
Things won't be changing on our campus except additional new buildings like the foodcourts, residence halls, and parking structure.
