it's called hipocresy polygirl. I know of a few ppl that are awesome preachers, but BECAUSE OF THEIR ACTIONS AND SUCH, they aren't qualified 2 be leaders. Take Jesus as an example... he was.... PERFECT... it also helped he was an awesome preacher. Take also Paul as an example... b4 he knew the truth, HE ACTUALLY WAS A BOUNTY HUNTER for christians... HOWEVER, once he changed his ways, HIS ACTIONS, God then wanted his help. Never will u see in the bible a biblical character whose been publicly recognized (whether as a jew in the old testament, or a christian in the new testament) for being a leader in preaching WHILE HE'S (even atleast) OPENLY admitting he does something that's CLEARLY AGAINST HIS OWN TEACHINGS....
it's called hipocresy.
I would rather have someone whose preaching methods are a little more boring teach me, because his actions and examples and him as a model will PROVE TO ME what he teaches is what he practices than someone whose an AWESOME preacher yet when the curtains close, he drinks excessively, fornicates, get's his @$$ rammed (eww!)... contradicting himself.... IT WOULD BE EVEN WORSE IF HE WERE TO NOT CLOSE THE CURTAINS AND JUST TELL EVERYONE THAT HE DOES IT... it would just prove that its ok to do what i just taught you NOT TO DO.
ps- its called hipocresy polygirl
