| i am going to stick a hot dog into bronco's ear. the jman can see there's no fullerton cheerleader or poly hater here, just one person who actually tells the truth rather than perpetuates myths.
it takes more courage to be a realist than a loyalist, whether you bleed green and gold, orange and blue, or any other color scheme. it takes more effort to see things warts and all and tell it like it is. i have always agreed that poly has many strengths. how can you not like the arabians or the rose garden? or that hot pep band? but how many people know the CLA tower might be torn down due to poor design? or that the college of science had a major investigation into poor management? (i'll bet that started after ortiz was embarrassed from the riot)
hey, fullerton sucks too when we start talking football. it had a mickey mouse team as bad if not worse than poly's and even played for a while at a local high school. and parking still sucks. nobody is great in everything, though USC seems headed in that direction.
since you guys have started talking bronco basketball i'll make a prediction. larry gordon will have another great year but the broncos won't, probably around a .500 record. and coach k. will get so frustrated with the tiny budget he will leave. that nonconference schedule other than the tournament is really lame.
i might go ask coach burton to put the broncos on the schedule just to help out. with two NIT wins and an NCAA bid last year the titans should give some love to their DII neighbors. you can bring your camera, bronco.
