| Everyone makes a valid argument where the school needs to make their investment into. Should the university demolish or renovate the existing gym to better facilitate the sport teams and visitors? Or is it a better investment to construct a new rec center to attract commuting students to stay and hang out a bit between classes?
From the economic standpoint, lakdod is right that the new kellogg gym could possibly bring in more money for the school. But on the other hand, wouldn't a larger percentage of the students prefer to use the new rec center on a more frequent basis than to go watch the sport teams play few times a week during evening when most of the students are already out of campus?'
I'd vote YES too if I could. |
