i have seen a lot of big west ball this year. larry would be a force at that level too. he absolutely refuses to be denied on the glass.
just don't bang on my titans. i have school pride there too. and we are fighting for another bid to the NIT this year. i would like another shot at georgetown.
i didn't sleep much last night, hall. my lady made sure of that......life is good. |
stop the presses. POY larry gordon getting another incredible 24-13 double double is no longer news, but the love in between hall and xx....now that's something to talk about!
did i see the two of you up there wearing those funny yellow construction hats? if so, x man your chick looks like a redwood tree.
no wonder you didn't get much sleep last night. (guess this shows that if those night moves follow a game the smack goes away)
now on to the game:
larry was everywhere and refused to be stopped by anybody including his own teammates. he very well could be an all american if he keeps this going.
toby had a breakout game. double figures and a soft touch not shown before.
angelo has learned to distribute the ball and trust his team more. a good sign.
and donelle still clunked his free throws but was a force otherwise.
the entire starting five scored in double figures. this could be the lineup of the future. collins is out of his league and rightfully has moved onto the bench as larry has been moved to shooting guard.
the only negative is that i miss the old days when paul helms had the box score posted no later than 10:10 pm, even for overtime games, so we could discuss the stats that evening. when the ladies were good we could also discuss the entire game story already posted online then, too.
now nothing is on the web until way past 11, and sometimes close to midnight, even though we don't even get webcasts anymore. i can't understand why if there's less to do. the story on the conference web site wasn't even ours as is customary, but rather humboldt's version, which stated that the broncos STOLE the game. very little mention of larry, too. we stole a game by fifteen points?
i also cannot believe last night's crowd was only 402. that's far less than one third of the crowd of the coyote game...NO WAY. who agrees?
these oversights can cost larry precious votes for POY. i'm calling out the athletic department to return to the quality and timely work of previous years.
