| G0ldenchild,
Here is how it works.
The book list (ISBNs) is pulled from the bronco bookstore website.
The background programs then search amazon/ebay for those ISBNs and find the price.
The book finder then displays the data via searches on the book page.
The only real source of error can be in two spots)
1) Bad book list from the department/instructor
2) Bad seller, selling a different book under the ISBN. Often times they sell "solutions manuals" or previous editions. This can normally be found by reading the comment before buying.
Note: Even if you get a bad book, or a book you do not need. You can turn around and sell it on the same avenue you bought it just minus shipping and some time - so all is not lost.
I have used the service myself for about 5 quarters, and have not had a problem.
I am the maker of the service, so I have a bias. I would appreciate some other users responding with their opinion. |
