just checked the box score...a "crowd" of 199, and as i recall, our pep band was there, right? you won't get that home cookin' up at the icardo center tonight. and by the way, it may not mean much to you, lakdod, but it will to the runners. they haven't had a losing season in 35 years and go into their final game at 14-14. that should be motivation enough. but coach hates losing, so we'll see. never good to go into the dance off a loss.
on the eagles nest, carol dunn had the place upgraded on her watch. i like the place. the chair seats are far superior to the old benches that we have. but to each his own.
did coach rest baby shaq? he wasn't in the box score. and btw, did you see what ivan johnson did in scoring and rebounding against DI bake? gulp! |
Yeah the Pep band was there at the game. I know it will be tough up in Bakersfield, Like I said in the previous post baby shaq got hurt in the final home game it did not look serious, but I think the coaches are realizing that the Broncos need to have him healthy if they are going to go far in regionals. I wont be surprise if they sit him again tonight. If he does not play its going to be tough for the Broncos to win of course this team seems to always find a way to win.
I like the seats in Cal State LA and they added a new floor, but I just do not like that place. I think its more with the campus and that its hard to find that gym if you do not know where your going.
Ivan Johnson is a beast he will be on all conference team with Dion, KJ from Humboldt, Dion, Vinson. I think the Broncos discover one thing when they play San Bernardino. Ivan will get his double digit points, but the key is to stop the players around him. If the rest of the teams scores the opposing team is in trouble.
