...and the better competition showed tonight.
their team looked bigger in thickness and muscle, and they seemed to own the offensive glass. they totally dominated our boards.
now we need the runners to win tomorrow night at san bernardino. since they're a DI team they can't win the conference title, and they can't go to the dance.
am listening now to the bakersfield broadcast on the web. this was the first time they beat us on our floor since 2001--and probably the last time we'll see this team at kellogg gym unless we declare for DI, too.
the bronco fans supported the team down to the last seconds, and the team responded. we just were too far back to stage yet another miracle finish. |
