assuming baby shaq and melvyn are able to rehab quickly and the NCAA finally wakes up from its long slumber and declares rashad bias eligible this will be a team to fear. we have seen our men take on athletes from the top of the blue chip tray. the trojan PG was a top fifty recruit yet he was not even a factor. the SG was all pac ten yet we outquicked him. and both westbrook and collison over at UCLA never showed anything that set them apart either. only in the paint were we outmanned, and those size advantages just don't exist in DII.
the key for this season will turn on the health of this team. coach k. continues to prove he is equal to any of them in play calling, on-court discipline, scouting and recruiting.
this upcoming road trip should give the broncos the acid test they need to prepare for the brutal three games they have to open the home schedule with san bernardino, sonoma and humboldt. |
