| Yeah I hear what you're saying. But when it comes to numbers Im not going to argue with you about that anymore. I have a some friends that are playing pro ball overseas, and there are several different levels of leauges within every country. So as one person maybe making 100K in italy, another person may be playing for a low end shitty DII equivalent league and be making 10K. So, actually it depends what league your in, how much you bargained for in your contract, and how much you're worth.
As for the comment on what pro scouts are looking for, these days theres so much politics involved that pro scouts only look at what school you came from and how many points you averaged per game. It's not right, but that's just the world were living in. Mr. Bonds was fortunate enough to carry the hardwood along with his name (DII All-American) so that made it all easier for him to go overseas. |
