just a guess....
PG...billy hoffman who will be totally outmatched by collison
SG...deon cook who may be our best player but is no affalo
SF...larry gordon who actually may show how good he really is in this game
PF...melvyn if fully healthy but lost in a mismatch
C...baby shaq will not have the power or speed to keep up
i see larry and deon having some flashes of stardom but also turnovers against a quicker team, billy hitting a couple threes and bias and booker getting some minutes on the big stage. in terms of pure talent the closest contest is at small forward unless coach k. switches neon. the real intrigue will be to see who on our five really can ball with these guys. somebody may surprise, perhaps one of the two stud freshmen.
just way too much talent differential so consider this game nice for the history books and the experience of our being at pauley and for ben and coach k. to run some plays as bruins run away with it by twentysomething points. |
