The Virgin College Mega Tour is making its way to Cal Poly Pomona on Wednesday, April 19 and bringing with it a whole day of music, activities and hot prizes.
The day begins at 10am in the Bronco Student Center with the Virgin College Mega Tour Village. Performing in Ursa Major are featured artists Eleanor Academia, Jorges, Taylor McKenna and Strike.Fire.Fall. You can also create your own CD at Dentyne’s karaoke booth and test your skills at the Major League Baseball Road Show pitching and batting cages. Hot prizes like a new Pontiac G6 or Pontiac Torren, a chance to meet the members of Yellowcard, an iPod and tickets to the Yellowcard sound check and show will also be given away. The Virgin Village runs until 6pm.
Evening Concert Featuring Yellowcard
The day’s headlining event takes place at the Kellogg Gym. Yellowcard, with bands Mae and Over It, will perform at 7pm. Discounted student tickets are on sale at Games Room Etc. for just $22 with no service charges.
