| Do you mean grade replacement? With a grade replacement you could actually repeat a class and use the grade you received the second time around to replace the original grade you earned. You can only replace 16 units worth, which is usually four classes. Use them wisely because you can replace any grade that is a "C" or lower. A "C+" cannot be replaced. Go to the registrar's office and complete a grade replacement form for each class in which you would like to replace the grade. I'm not sure exactly how long it takes to replace the grade though. When you file a grade replacement, the class that you repeated will be excluded when your GPA is calculated. The second grade you got in the class will appear on your transcript with the note that you repeated the class. Hope this helps. |
