| Dr. Gomez was a chill teacher but a little too 'chill' for my liking. For instance, she was late often and when we are late, she gets real *****y about it. We spend more time watching documentary videos than learning about the topics and readings.
The service learning activities was real fun though, got a chance to actually do hands-on projects in addition to the readings. But don't expect this 200 level class to be easy going. dr. gomez assigns a heck of alot chapters to read and weekly journal assignments. She never returns the homeworks we turn in so we can't really calculate the grades we should be getting. I ended up with a B when I did every single assignment, completed the service learning project and thought I did very well on the exams. maybe Dr. Gomez didn't like me because I didn't say much in class. |
