It should be just fine because when the notebook hibernates, all it does it consumes a minimal amount of battery/energy because the hard drive is hibernating and not spinning. And since it is hibernating, her notebook will not produce any heat, which is the number one reason why computers malfunction. It's fine.
You should also know that hibernating and screen saver is not the same. During the screen saver, the operating system and many tasks (programs) are processing in the background, which uses CPU power and the computer RAM. This means that your hard drive is still awake and spinning, therefore consuming more battery/energy and producing heat inside the notebook. But depending on the programs that are running, there's no need to worry about overheating.
