THE 411: FINANCING YOUR FUTURE

Are you finding that as the cost of education rises, paying for college becomes more and more difficult? Over 50 percent of CPP Broncos were awarded over $70 million this year alone. You could ease your financial burden too by taking advantage of some of the resources available in the Office of Financial Aid.

The best place to start is their Web site. You can learn more about loans, grants, scholarships, and the work-study program. In addition to basic information, the Web site gives information about the Stafford Loan Workshops and has the General University Scholarship application available to fill out.

The priority deadline to submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is Mar. 2 where as the general scholarship application deadline is Feb. 15.

Financial Aid is located on the 3rd floor of the CLA Building (Tower side). They are open M-Th 8:00am – 6:00pm and Friday and quarter breaks from 8:00am – 5:00pm. Their Web site is http://dsa.csupomona.edu/financial_aid and financial aid and scholarship recipients can review the status of their financial aid file and award on BroncoDirect.
