wow, you nailed it, JB. broncos shoot a miserable 8 for 17 from the line and blow a 48-38 lead, losing to the coyotes, 70-61. dion and melvyn combine for a whopping 1 for 8 for their free throws. unbelievable. the boys actually shot better from long distance with guys trying to block their shots (9-18) than free ones. go figure. JBoyd once again led the team and is nearing the lead in the nation for 3-point percentage. he is providing the senior leadership the boys need but way too many clunkers that should be automatic. opposing teams now are changing their strategies to hack-a-shaq since we can't hit those freebies.
nice crowd. we had several hundred fans drive over among the 1,300 or so that attended including the band and cheer team. way to go, green and gold.
the ladies are the worst in many, many years. they got beat by 23 and fall to 6-8. a far cry from those national title teams. but maybe boyd can carry the guys to the tourney still.
